Common repair work
Slipped or damaged tiles and slates, ridge and hip repairs, valley defects, failed lead flashings, chimney weathering, local underlay defects, storm damage and repairs to EPDM and other domestic flat-roof systems.
Diagnosis first
Where access and conditions allow, the roof is inspected before a repair scope is agreed. Photographs can be useful at enquiry stage, especially for obvious storm damage or isolated defects.
Repair or replacement?
Whether the roof is tiled, slate or flat, if it is generally sound a targeted repair can be the sensible answer. If the covering, membrane or underlay is failing across several areas, we will explain when repeated repair spend is unlikely to provide good value.
Clear scope
The quotation sets out the work we propose. If opening-up reveals something that could not reasonably be seen beforehand, we discuss it before adding work to the job.
